A Circuit Civil Court judge heard that when a checkpoint collapsed when she weighed, the old baby fell and hit her head.
Counsel Tracy Ennis falti said that on October 2009, little Grace Sherin Hayes, together with her mother, was on a routine check-up in the Walnut swood community and leisure Dublin, located at taraggokswood Heights-up.
Ennis Faherty MS told Judge Raymond Groarke, president of the circuit that Grace, now five years old, was placed on a weighing scale on an allegedly defective checkpoint.
The court heard that when the table collapsed, the baby rolled down from the balance and hit his head on the door.
The scales and several books on the table then fell on her.
Judge Groarke was told that a red lump appeared on the side of Grace\'s face and her knee was bruised.
She was taken to A & E at Adelaide and Meath Hospital in tallagut, Dublin, where she was shut down for the night.
The court heard that the baby\'s head was swollen a few days later, with bruises around both eyes.
She had trouble sleeping and eating.
